Terms of Service

Effective date: April 9, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SchiffOps ("the Service"), operated by SchiffOps. By creating an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service

SchiffOps is a shop management platform for powder coating businesses. It provides tools for job tracking, quoting, customer management, and reporting.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account. Each shop operates in its own isolated workspace — your data is never shared with or visible to other shops using the Service.

3. Free Trial

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial period, continued access requires a paid subscription. We reserve the right to modify trial terms at any time.

4. Subscription and Payment

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. Prices may change with 30 days' notice.

5. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you enter into the Service, including customers, jobs, and quotes. We do not sell your data to third parties. We may use aggregated, anonymized data for product improvement. If you cancel your account, you may request a data export within 30 days of cancellation.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to violate any laws, infringe on others' rights, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Uptime and Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided "as is." We are not liable for downtime, data loss, or business losses resulting from use of the Service.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate the relationship at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your access to the Service ends.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
